Field mapping

Shortcut to the field mapping settings is available in the column settings and under the wrench icon

When box scope is based on a single Jira project, a pop-up opens. When the box scope is based on multiple projects, you are redirected to the field mapping section of App Configuration.

Limitations:

For boxes based on a single Jira project, a pop-up appears:

• read-only pop-up - users that don’t have permissions to change the field mapping settings

  • Box admin

  • Box editor

  • Box viewer

• editable pop-up - users that have sufficient permissions can change the field mapping settings directly in the pop-up

  • App admin

  • Jira admin

For boxes based on multiple Jira projects, a user is taken to App Configuration page:

• disabled - users that don’t have permissions to change the field mapping settings

  • App admin

  • Box admin

  • Box editor

  • Box viewer

• redirect - users that have sufficient permissions are taken to the field mapping screen in App configuration

  • Jira admin

Filters

When filters are being executed, a loading progress indicator appears

The loading bar helps you know that the filter is being executed.
