How to configure an announcement with HTML tags using Announcer for Confluence app

This article contains step-by-step instructions to create a new announcement with HTML tags using the Announcer for Confluence app.

Instructions

1. Login as an Administrator in your Confluence instance.
   
2. Click Cog menu () > Manage apps.
3. Select Announcer for Confluence app and click Get started.
4. Click Announcements, under the ANNOUNCER FOR CONFLUENCE section, in the sidebar on the left.
5. If you are creating an announcement for the first time, click Create one now to create a new announcement.
   
   If you have any existing announcement(s), click Add another notification.
   
   
6. In the Announcement editor, enter the basic details for the announcement. Refer to this guide for more details.
7. To configure additional settings, click Show advanced options....
   1. Select the HTML option from the drop-down list on the left.

   2. Enter your HTML code in Contents as:
      
      

      By default, few HTML tags and attributes are supported for use in the HTML Contents editor. You can add more HTML tags and attributes if these are not sufficient for your purpose. Refer to the Announcer Global Configuration settings as specified in this guide for more information.

   3. Click Preview for a preview of the announcement. If there are no further changes, click Save.
