How to get Acceptance reports in the Announcer For Confluence Server app

Acceptance report gives you detailed information about users' acceptance of an announcement. This article explains how to get the Acceptance report for an announcement configured in the Announcer for Confluence Server app. 

Instructions

  1. Login as an Administrator in your Confluence instance.
  2. Click Cog menu (Manage apps.
  3. From the sidebar to the left, under the ANNOUNCER FOR CONFLUENCE, click Announcements.
  4. Currently active notifications are displayed under Active Notifications in the Announcer Configuration page.
  5. Select the required announcement and click  to see the Acceptance report.

Acceptance report details

  • The first section displays the total number of users and the average time taken to acknowledge the announcement, per user type (anonymous or real). The second section in the report shows further details like:
    • the user names;
    • if they accepted the announcement;
    • the timestamp when the announcement was acknowledged; and,
    • the Dwell Time, that is, the time taken to dismiss the announcement.
  • When you hover over a User Name link, you can view the profile of that user.
  • Click Export to CSV, on the top-right corner, to export the Acceptance report in CSV format.
