Filters (Gantt module).
Introduction
Various task filtering options are available in the top right corner of the Gantt module.
Date range
Filter tasks (including basic tasks) based on date.
Search box
You can switch between two modes:
Text search
JQL search
Note: Snipe to result allows you to highlight items matching the search query without filtering out non-matching items.
Quick Filters
Quick filters are applied when using a module but are added and managed in Box configuration.
Other ways of organizing data
While task grouping is not a filter, it is one of the available ways of organizing data in the Gantt module.
Filter Options
Filter options can be used with both search and filters to further control the results. Filter options can be combined.
Show all Basic tasks in the results - check this option to display basic tasks.
Show all children tasks in results - check this option to display the child tasks of the filtered results.
Hide parent tasks in results - check this option to hide the parent tasks of the filtered results.
Apply active filters to all modules - apply the current filters to all modules.
Clear all active filters
Deactivate all filters to make sure all data is visible, and no tasks remain hidden.
Hide parent tasks in results
Use this option to see only items that match the search terms. Parent tasks that normally would be greyed out are hidden. Task are displayed as flat structure.
