Maximum number of issues that can be pulled by each data source connection

This article explains the limit that can be set for pulling a maximum number of issues from each data source connection. This recommendation is helpful for Jira instances with a large number of issues.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Jira
  2. Navigate to the global navigation Menu (on the top) → AIO Power BI → My Connector URLs → Administration → App Settings.
  3. Set the limit for the option Maximum number of issues that can be pulled by each data source connection (leave blank for no limit) as 10000 and Save it.


  • Please note that access to the app is controlled by the Access Permissions option, which is accessible only to a Jira administrator. If the group they belong to, is not selected, then those users cannot see the AIO Power BI menu item. In this case, the Jira administrator can perform the above step(s).
  • This recommendation will help to pull the data in batches of 10000 which will further avoid any loading issues, i.e., improve the performance of the instance during the data import process.
