Status Counter gadget

The Status Counter gadget displays the total and average number of status changes per issue over different time periods, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly views.

How to add the Status Counter gadget to your dashboard

1. Open the dashboard and click the Add Gadget button.

2. In the gadget search bar, enter JEP - Status Counter Bar Chart. 

3. Click the Add gadget button near the gadget.

4. Configure the gadget:

   Open

   

   • Project or saved filter: Select a project or a saved filter.

   • JEP Counter custom fields: Choose the previously defined custom fields (see Counter custom fields).

   • Period: Select a period to see details per issue, or daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly to see details for a given time interval.

   • Days previously: Filter issues based on their creation date relative to today.

   • Custom gadget title: Enter a title for the gadget as it will appear on your dashboard.

   • Refresh interval: Select how often you would like this gadget to update.

5. Click Save.

The gadget visualizes data in a bar chart. Each bar represents status changes within the selected timeframe.

You can click on a bar to open the Issue Navigator and view the related issues.
