First Response Time gadget

First Response Time gadget

This page is about JEP for Jira DC. Using Cloud? Click here.

The First Response Time gadget measures the time elapsed between an issue's creation and its first public comment.

How is this different from Jira’s built-in first response time gadget?

Unlike Jira’s default gadget, the JEP - First Response Time gadget:

  • Considers working hours and holidays (as defined in your settings).

  • Tracks the first public comment regardless of group restrictions.

  • Allows the first responder to be different from the reporter, providing more flexibility in tracking response times.

How to add the First Response Time gadget to your dashboard

  1. Open the dashboard and click the Add Gadget button.
