Number Custom Field Analyzer gadget

The Number Custom Field Analyzer gadget helps analyze numeric custom fields by applying arithmetic methods such as sum, max, min, and average. It lets you group values by a selected field and visualize the results in a chart or table format.

How to add the Number Custom Field Analyzer gadget to your dashboard

1. Open the dashboard and click the Add Gadget button.

2. In the gadget search bar, enter JEP - Number Custom Field Analyzer. 

3. Click the Add gadget button near the gadget.

4. Configure the gadget:

   Open

   

   • Project or saved filter: Select a project or a saved filter.

   • Custom gadget title: Enter a title for the gadget as it will appear on your dashboard.

   • Custom field - Field: Select the field or custom field that you want to group by.

   • Number custom field: Select the number custom field that you want to analyze.

   • Graph/table include: Tick each arithmetic method (sum, max, min, average) that you want to see either in the gadget's chart or table.

   • Show graph/table overall column: Decide whether you want to see the overall column.

   • Refresh interval: Select how often you would like this gadget to update.

5. Click Save.

• Use this gadget to gain insights into numeric fields, track trends, and monitor key metrics efficiently.

• In this example, the chart displays the issue count, max, min, and average values of the Story Points field, grouped by Fix Version.
