Assign tasks to teams

Assigning tasks and allocating them to respective teams is crucial to managing projects.

Board module

Assign Jira issues to a team

Go to the Board module to assign a Jira issue to a team.

  1. Go to the Jira issue in the Backlog of the Infobar panel.

  2. Inline edit the Team column view and choose a team.

Assign basic tasks to a team

To assign basic tasks to a respective team:

  1. Go to the basic task in the Backlog of the Infobar panel.

  2. Choose a team by inline editing the Team column view.

Resources module

To assign unscheduled tasks to a respective team:

  1. Find a task on the timeline.

  2. Choose a team by inline editing the Team field in a detail view window.

Built-in field

You can also add the Team column to your column view:

  1. Go to the module and click the + icon.

  2. Add the built-in Team field to your column view.

  3. Double-click on the field to open the drop-down menu and select a team. Only teams added to a box are available.
