Unable to create project with Delegated Project Creator

 Problem

When a user clicks on create a project from the template, it spins for a few seconds but then does nothing, and the create button appears again.

 Solution

Please verify if the user is able to see the create project from template option, if he is able to see that option as shown below then he has sufficient permission and he should be able to create a project using “Create Project from template”

Verify if the user is added to the groups under “Permission settings” and if it is added to the “Groups that can CREATE new projects”

 

  1. Verify if the created user does not have create project permission and if you are noticing in the logs,

  2. Request the user to remove groups from all the groups under “Permission settings” and add them again in “Groups that can CREATE new projects”

  3. Check if the “Create project from template” button is displaying or not and then add the group to other groups in the “permission settings” and check. Try multiple times if it does not work for the first time.
