Overview

Issue Matrix tables can be visible on Jira Dashboards. If you create a dashboard using a filter gadget and add the Issue Matrix field as a column to the gadget, then you will have the Matrix table visible on the Dashboard. As a result, the whole Issue Matrix table or the Issue Keys will be displayed depending on the "Issue Navigator Visualization" option configured (check the section "Configuration" in the Issue Matrix and the Issue Navigator document).

Configuration

To add Issue Matrix fields to a dashboard:

  1. Navigate to the section "Issue Navigator Visualization" in the configuration of your Issue Matrix custom field.

  2. Choose between the options "Issue Keys" and "Issue Matrix Table" (check the section "Configuration" in Issue Matrix and the Issue Navigator document).

  3. On Jira→Dashboards→Manage Dashboards, click on "Create new dashboard".

  4. On the Jira→Dashboards→Manage Dashboard, open your dashboard and click on the "Add gadget" button.

  5. Choose a filter results gadget from the list in the "Add a gadget" window.

     

  6. In the filter gadget configuration, from the drop-down with fields add the Issue Matrix custom field as a column.

  7. Save the configuration.
