Introduction

You can configure the Issue Matrix to be visible in different places in Jira. The locations available for your Issue Matrix are the Issue View, the Issue Navigator, Agile Boards, and Dashboards.

To choose locations where Issue Matrix will visualize:

1. Navigate to the Locations section in the configuration of your Issue Matrix custom field.

2. Choose the locations where you would like to have the Issue Matrix in your Jira.

Issue Detail View

You can place your Issue Matrix in two different locations in the issue view, and this behavior is controlled by the Issue Matrix Panel and Screen Fields Panel options. When you choose the Screen Fields Panel option, the matrix will be placed next to the other custom fields in the issue view or on a different tab (if you have configured it).

The Issue Matrix Panel option is the default option, and it will be placed in its original location in the issue view.

Issue Navigator

There are three ways to visualize the Issue Matrix fields in the Issue Navigator. You can choose to display:

• only the issue keys;

• the issue summary together with the issue keys, or

• the entire Issue Matrix table.

Agile Boards

You can also show the Issue Matrix in the issue detail view in Agile boards. After you open a board and click on one of the issues, you will see the Issue Matrix in the issue detail view.
