License update failed. License is malformed!

Symptoms:
On entering a license key in Configuration Manager's licensing page, a similar error is received.
Cause:
Configuration Manager for JIRA can be used either with a license issued by Atlassian or a license issued by Appfire. CMJ's licensing page can only be used for licenses, issued by Appfire.
Resolution:
Enter the Atlassian issued license in the Manage add-ons page like any standard Jira add-on. More details about CMJ's licensing model can be found here.
