Upgrading to Power Apps 6.0.820.x Fails
Problem
Power Apps versions 6.0.820.x are dependant on Java 11
Additional Background
If you have installed or upgraded any addons from the Power Apps suite version 6.0.820.x before upgrading to Java 11, they will fail.
If you have Jira 8.20 installed, the Universal Plugin Manager will automatically install version 6.0.820.x when you click on the “upgrade” button, so upgrading may cause Power Apps addons to fail.
Solution
Either upgrade Jira to Java 11 or downgrade Power Apps to a version prior to 6.0.820.x. To downgrade Power Apps, follow these steps:
Uninstall all Power Apps. In particular, uninstall:
Power Scripts
SIL Engine
Power Apps Licensing Manager (formerly Warden)
Stop Jira
Clear the plugin cache. Delete <JIRA_HOME>/plugins/.bundled-plugins and <JIRA_HOME>/plugins/.osgi-plugins (just these two folders)
Manually remove any Power Apps with version 6.0.820.x found in <JIRA_HOME>/plugins directory. In particular, look for the following names:
power-scripts
katl-commons (SIL Engine)
warden (Power Apps License Manager)
Restart JIRA.
Download Power Apps from the Atlassian Marketplace.
