How does Power Admin for Jira detect the screen usage?

This document explains how Power Admin identifies the usage and dependencies of screens in a Jira configuration.

Screens → Projects relation

The usage in projects is determined by the usage of screens in screen schemes and workflows.

Power Admin for Jira detects if a screen’s dependent screen schemes and workflows are associated with projects. It will then show if the screen is configured in the dependent screen schemes' and workflows' projects (Projects counter in the Summary section).

Screen usage in workflows

Dependency is detected if a workflow participant's property refers to a screen (by name or ID).

Screen usage in screen schemes

Dependency is detected if a certain screen is added to a screen scheme.
