Screens

Screens and their usage

A screen is part of a project configuration if its dependent screen schemes and workflows are associated with any projects. The Assigned to X PROJECTS lozenge shows you a list of the associated projects.

Power Admin for Jira allows you to find any screen in your Jira configuration and get a full report about its dependent elements.

Find screens

  1. On Power Admin's Home page, select Screen from the drop-down, type a name or ID, and start your search.

  2. On the Search results page, click the name of a screen. You can filter further the screens by using the Projects filter next to the search field.

  3. Then, the screen’s profile page appears.

Search results

The page with search results shows the following information for each screen:

  • Name and ID of the screen - you can search for a screen by its name or ID.

  • Projects - shows the number of projects where the screen is part of their screen schemes and workflows. When you click on the project count lozenge, you will see a list of all these projects.

Profile page

Using the profile page, you can view all the details about a screen and its usage.

How does Power Admin for Jira track a screen’s usage?

To collect all the data about a screen's usage, Power Admin goes through all the screen schemes and workflows and looks through their JQL entries for references to the screen.

Usage information

A screen's usage information is presented in the Summary and Details sections on its profile page.
