Screen schemes and their usage

Power Admin for Jira allows you to find any screen scheme in your configuration and shows all the projects it is assigned to.

Find screen schemes

  1. On Power Admin's Home page, select Screen Scheme from the drop-down, type a name or ID, and start your search.

  2. On the Search results page, click on the name of a screen scheme. You can filter further the screen schemes by using the Projects filter next to the search field.

  3. Then, the screen scheme’s profile page appears.

Search results

The Search results page shows the following information for each screen scheme:

  • Name and ID of the screen scheme - you can search for a screen scheme by its name or ID.

  • Projects - shows the number of projects where the screen scheme is configured. When you click on the project count lozenge, you can view a list of all these projects.

Profile page

Using the profile page, you can view a list of projects with the screen scheme present in their project configuration.

Usage information

The Summary section shows the number of projects associated with the screen scheme. You can click on the number to view a list of the projects.

The Details section of the profile page shows details of the projects to which the screen scheme is assigned. You can further navigate to the profile page of each project.

Actions

The following actions are available for screen schemes:

  • Rename - click on the name of a screen scheme to rename it. Rename is a safe activity, which means that the name of the screen scheme will be updated in all dependent configuration elements referring to it by name.

  • Configure - redirects you to the screen scheme's configuration page in Jira.

  • Edit - redirects you to the screen scheme's edit page in Jira.

  • Delete - use it to clean your Jira of any unused screen schemes. Power Admin allows you to delete a screen scheme if it’s not assigned to any projects.

  • Copy - redirects you to the screen scheme's copy page in Jira.

  • Export - exports the screen scheme's usage information in a CSV file.
