Issue type screen schemes and their usage

Power Admin for Jira allows you to find any issue type screen scheme in your configuration and shows all the projects it is assigned to.

Find issue type screen schemes

  1. On Power Admin's Home page, select Issue Type Screen Scheme from the drop-down, type a name or ID, and start your search.

  2. On the Search results page, click on the name of an issue type screen scheme. You can filter further the issue type screen schemes by using the Projects filter next to the search field.

  3. Then, the issue type screen scheme’s profile page appears.

Search results

The Search results page shows the following information for each issue type screen scheme:

  • Name and ID of the issue type screen scheme - you can search for an issue type screen scheme by its name or ID.

  • Projects - shows the number of projects where the issue type screen scheme is configured. When you click on the project count lozenge, you can view a list of all these projects.

Profile page

Using the profile page, you can view a list of the projects where the issue type screen scheme is present in their project configuration.

Usage information

The Summary section shows the number of projects associated with the issue type screen scheme.

The Details section of the profile page shows details of the projects to which the issue type screen scheme is assigned. You can further navigate to the profile page of each project.

Actions

The following actions are available for issue type screen schemes:

  • Rename - click on the name of an issue type screen scheme to rename it. Rename is a safe activity, which means that the name of the issue type screen scheme will be updated in all dependent configuration elements referring to it by name.

  • Configure - redirects you to the issue type screen scheme's configuration page in Jira.

  • Edit - redirects you to the issue type screen scheme's edit page in Jira.

  • Delete - use it to clean your Jira of any unused issue type screen schemes. Power Admin allows you to delete an issue type screen scheme if it’s not assigned to any projects.

  • Copy - redirects you to the issue type screen scheme's copy page in Jira.

  • Export - exports the issue type screen scheme's usage information in a CSV file.
