New feature

Migration support using Atlassian’s Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA)

The JMWE app now has an automated migration path and can be migrated from Jira Server/Data Center using Atlassian’s Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) automation. Be aware that JMWE’s Cloud migration using JCMA is currently in beta. For more information about migrating to Jira Cloud using JCMA see Migrating to Jira Cloud using Jira Cloud Migration Assistant.

Improvements

• Post-functions

  • Create missing value(s) option has been added to the Create/Clone issue post-function. By selecting this option, any missing Component(s), Version(s), Option(s), or Resolution(s) will be created.

  • In this version (7.2.0), the Copy field value from parent issue, Copy field value to parent issue, Copy field value from related issues, Copy field value to related issues, and Copy value from field to field post-functions have been marked as “Obsolete”. We recommend that you use the more powerful and generic Copy issue fields post-function. Note that these “Obsolete” post-functions are still supported if they currently exist in workflows and actions.

• Event-based actions – The system events Issue Comment Edited, Issue Comment Deleted, Issue Deleted, and Issue Moved are now fully supported in Event-based actions.

• JMWE Configuration page – The “Error Handling” section of the JMWE Configuration page has been rewritten for better clarity regarding options.
