Reauthorize connection between both platforms
For troubleshooting purposes, our support team may request you to reauthorize the connection between both platforms. Additionally, if you need to update the Integration User in Salesforce, this guide will provide useful instructions.
 Instructions
In Jira:
Go to Jira > Apps > Salesforce > Connections.
Locate the current connection and click on "Revoke."
In Salesforce:
Navigate to Setup > Installed packages.
Under the installed package for the connector, click on "Configure."
Select "Revoke."
Back in Jira:
Go to Jira > Apps > Salesforce > Connections.
Click on the "Authorize" button. (Ensure that you are logged in to Salesforce with the user that will be the integration user, preferably a system admin profile)
Click on the three dots (...) and access the "API Access Token."
Back in Salesforce Configuration:
Go to Salesforce Setup > Installed packages.
Under the installed package for the connector, click on "Configure" once more.
Click the "Add Connection."
Continuing in Salesforce Configuration:
Create a new connection with the following details:
Connection Name: Choose any name for this connection.
Access Token: Paste the API Access Token you copied.
Set as Default and Delete:
Make the new connection the default by using the "Make Default" button.
