Roll up sub-task's time entries into parent issue

This article helps create a matrix-type report that will include the sub-tasks time entries into the parent issue.

Instructions. 

  1. Navigate to AIO Reports →  Custom Report → New Report.

  2. Select Type as Matrix and add the fields as shown below:




    The parent issue key is KS-13:



    The sub-task issue key: KS-14, KS-15, KS-16:


  3. Configure the Parent Issue key by ticking the option Roll up data from child issues into Parent and click Done.


  4. Filter the Time entry: Date field as shown below:


    Note: Apply the Format and filter as per your requirements. In this example, the time entry date is filtered from the start of the year to the current date, displaying the results every month.

    • Ensure to have appropriate permissions to create a report

    • Customize the report by adding the fields according to your requirement
