How to sort X-Axis by Measures Ascending order in the Chart Report

This article explains how to sort X-Axis Measures Descending order in the Chart Reports (Bar and Line) using the Reports and Timesheets for Jira app.

Instructions

1. Login to Jira

2. Navigate to AIO Reports > My Area > My Reports. Ensure you have the proper permissions to create the reports. 

3. Create a Chart  – Bar report. In this example, we are selecting Component Name in the X-Asis, Issue Type in the Segment by, and Count of Issues in the Y-Axis..

4. Click on the Page Settings, select the option Measure - Ascending to display the results in ascending order.

5.  In the following screenshot, notice that the results are displayed in ascending order.
