Introduction
The Infobar in the Board module provides information on crucial box content aspects, including:
Backlog
Dependencies
Warnings
Switch between the tabs
You can easily choose what information the Infobar shows. All you need to do is click on the tab in the upper section of the Infobar. The example below shows the Backlog view.
Backlog
The Backlog is a list of tasks such as new features, changes to existing features, bug fixes, infrastructure changes, or other activities a team may deliver to achieve a specific outcome. Backlog items in this section can be displayed as:
List of tasks (flat mode)
Hierarchy of tasks (work breakdown structure mode)
For more information, see the Backlog page.
Dependencies
One of Infobar's sections focuses on task dependencies. The dependencies fall into four categories and resemble links configured in dependency configuration.
The Dependencies tab contains all information on task dependencies:
Dependencies between the tasks in the scope of the current box.
Dependencies between the tasks in the current box and other boxes (indicated by an icon).
Dependency details
Expand a dependency to see the following information:
Source task
Target task
Task key
Task dates
Team code
Timebox
Search
The search bar allows you to find a specific task (or tasks) whose dependencies you want to inspect.
Focus on task
Use the focus feature to select the source or target tasks. The app will highlight the task.
Edit dependency
To edit a dependency:
Click More actions (…) > Edit dependency.
Make changes.
When ready, click Save.
Out-of-view dependencies
A dependency doesn’t appear on the board when at least one task is from an external box. Such dependencies are listed under the Dependencies out of view section.
When you click Focus on source/target, you can’t be taken to a task in a different box.
Filter based on swimlanes
Dependencies are filtered based on the swimlane type and values selected.
Warnings
Go to the Warnings tab to see a list of all task warnings. Click on a selected warning to check its details and resolve a problem.
A pop-up message describes a problem and suggests the next steps.
