Issue Migration

When is issue migration required?

When deploying configuration snapshots that contain any of the changes listed below, you may have to specify how existing issues should be migrated so your data remains consistent.

Changes that require issue migration:

  • A status has been removed from an active Workflow.

  • Workflows in a workflow scheme have changed in a way that makes the status of some issues invalid for the new workflow assigned to them.

  • A workflow scheme has changed for a given project.

  • An issue-type scheme has changed in a way that the issue type of some issues is no longer applicable in the context of the scheme.
