Issue Security Migration

Issue Security Changes

There are cases when changes to an issue security scheme will require issue migration.

Issue security level migration is required in the following cases: 

A security level is removed from an issue security scheme

When a level is removed and this level is used by issues all these issues should be updated to use a new security level.

An issue security scheme is assigned to a project

When an issue security scheme is assigned to a project which previously had no issue security scheme assigned, you have the option to specify a security level to which all issues will be assigned.

A project's issue security scheme is changed

When a new issue security scheme is assigned to a project which previously had another issue security scheme assigned, you have the option to specify a security level mapping from the levels of the old scheme to the new scheme, which will be used to migrate the affected issues.
