Create a Snapshot

Introduction

A Configuration Snapshot represents the state of Jira configuration objects at a given point in time. Snapshots capture the state of the objects as well as their relations to each other. You can find the list of all supported configuration objects here.

With Configuration Manager, you can create three types of snapshots:

• System Configuration Snapshots

• Project Configuration Snapshots

• Project with Issues Snapshots

Requirements

You need System Administrator privileges to be able to create snapshots.
