Overview

A select transition in a state allows a user to choose the destination state for the transition.

The select transition user options for the destination state displayed in the workflow popup can be configured to be one or more of the states in the workflow.

A user manually transitions the workflow state using the workflow popup.

  • a user can select a destination state using the dropdown menu in the workflow popup

     

  • select options available for the choice of destination state are set by the workflow for the current state

  • the select transition will not be present in a state when an approval is present in the state

Select transitions can be added to any state in a custom workflow using workflow builder except where the state already has an approval (content review).
