Comala Publishing Integration Comala Document Management
Together with an applied Comala Document Management workflow to
A workflow from one of Comala Document Management family of apps can be applied to pages and blog posts, Comala Publishing can only publish page content. Blog posts with a Comala workflow applied are ignored by the Comala Publishing app.
Publishing a page
The first publishing action for a page
generates a copy of the source page content and properties in the target space
sets the page version in the target space as version 1
Each subsequent publishing action for the page increments the target space page version. Confluence version metadata is not copied from the draft page.
The published content in the target space
maintains, where possible, the page hierarchy from the source space
However, in the target space, the order of the published pages under a parent page may sometimes be different from that in the source space.
Comala Publishing is designed to publish to a target space that is “empty”.
Any space can be configured as a target space, but problems may be encountered on the first publishing of a source space to a target space that is not empty (except for the space homepage).
