Overview
A space administrator uses the Configure Publishing setup tool to help set up the publishing configuration for the current space.
The Configure Publishing option is only available in the space publishing dashboard if a space administrator has not yet configured it for publishing.
Configure Publishing setup wizard tool
Open the configuration setup tool using the Configure Publishing option in the space settings publishing dashboard.
You must add a target space for publishing.
select the target space for publishing from the dropdown menu
choose Next
The Configure Publishing dialog box confirms the named target space to which the current space pages (the source space) will be published.
You can choose to either
Review the configuration
This option displays the current publishing configuration for the current space (as a source space for publishing).
Choose the Review the Configuration button to close the dialog box and display the publishing configuration in the space publishing dashboard.
The pages in the space are not yet published.
Further publishing configuration in the publishing dashboard includes
Publish the source space
To publish all the pages in the space
choose Publish space
The Publish the Source Space option publishes all the pages in the space to the added target space.
choose this button to open a confirmation dialog box
choose Publish to publish all the pages in the space to the target space
A progress bar displays the publishing progress.
On completion, a report is displayed for the whole space publish action.
choose Back to return to the space publishing dashboard
A short summary of the last successful whole space publish is displayed in Space publishing in the publishing dashboard.
The publishing status for all the pages in the space can be viewed in the publishing report. It can be accessed using Apps>Comala Publishing in the Confluence sidebar.
Clear the publishing configuration
The publishing configuration can be cleared from a source space and unlinked from the target space using the Clear Publishing configuration option in the ellipsis menu in the publishing dashboard.
