Content properties are copied to the target space page by default when a page is published. Content properties include

3rd party app properties
The copying of content properties can be disabled in the source space publishing dashboard by a space administrator if you don’t want to override content properties on the target space page when publishing.
You may want to disable this option if you have a 3rd party app in the target space, for example if you have a Comala workflow applied in the target space.
