PCJ-Import File not being displayed

Problem

If after copying your complete project import file over from the Source  instance to the Target  instance, it is not displayed in the Project File  box on the import screen then you should follow the steps below in order to resolve this issue.

Solution

  1. Ensure that the file is placed under the  <JiraHomeDirectory>/import/projectconfigurator on the Target  instance.
  2. Ensure that the permissions for the import file are set so that is owned by the same operating system user and group  which Jira is running under.
  3. Refresh the project import page after making these changes to ensure that the import file is displayed inside of the Project File  box on the import screen.
