How to configure an announcement with HTML tags in Bitbucket server

This article explains step by step instructions on how to create a new announcement with HTML tags in a Bitbucket server using the Announcer for Bitbucket Server app.

Instructions

1. Log into a Bitbucket instance with the admin user account.

2. Click the Cog wheel 

    to see Administration page.

3. From the left sidebar, under the ANNOUNCER FOR BITBUCKET section, select Announcements.

4. In the Announcer Configuration screen,
   
   

   1. When you are creating an announcement for the first time, click Create one now to create a new announcement.

   2. If you have any existing announcement(s), click Add another notification to create another announcement.

5. In the Announcement editor, enter the basic details for the announcement. Refer to this guide for more details.

6. To configure additional settings, click Show advanced options...

   1. Select the HTML option from the drop-down list on the right.

   2. Enter your HTML code in Contents as:
        

      
      
      
      

   3. Click Preview for a preview of the announcement. If there are no further changes, click Save.
