How to create an announcement that is available for anonymous users using the Announcer for Bitbucket app

This article explains how to create an announcement that is visible to all users, including anonymous users, using the Announcer for Bitbucket app.

Instructions

1. Login to your Bitbucket instance.
2. Click Settings (Cog Wheel).
3. Click Announcements under ANNOUNCER FOR BITBUCKET section in the sidebar to the left.
   
   
4. When you are creating an announcement for the first time, click Create one now to create a new announcement. If you have any existing announcement(s), click Add another notification.
5. In the Announcer editor screen, enter relevant details such as Title, Notification Type, and so on.
6. Select Yes under the Show for anonymous users option.
   
   
7. Click Save to apply the changes.

The announcement created, with Show for anonymous users selected, becomes visible to all users.
