How to create a new Announcement in Announcer for Bitbucket server

This article explains step by step instructions on how to create a new Announcement in Announcer for Bitbucket announcer.

Instructions

1. Log in to Bitbucket instance as an administrator.
2. Click the Cog wheel  to see Administration page.
3. From the left panel, under the ANNOUNCER FOR BITBUCKET section, select Announcements.
4. When you are creating an announcement for the first time:
   1. You see the Create one now button to create a new announcement. Click to create your first announcement.
      
      
      
   2. If you have any existing announcement(s):
      You see the Add another notification button to create a new announcement. Click to create a new announcment.
      
5. In the Announcement editor, enter the respective details of your choice.
            
6. Click Show advanced options... to display additional options. For more details, please verify the edit options from this page.
           
7. Preview and Save the announcement.

          You see the announcement on the Bitbucket page as soon as you log in to Bitbucket.
