How to configure an announcement for specific project(s) in the Bitbucket Server

This article explains step by step instructions on how to create a new announcement for specific project(s) in Bitbucket using the Announcer for Bitbucket server app.

Instructions

1. Log into a Bitbucket instance with the admin user account.
2. Click the Cog wheel  to see Administration page.
3. From the left sidebar, under the ANNOUNCER FOR BITBUCKET section, select Announcements.
4. In the Announcer Configuration page, 
   
   1. When you are creating an announcement for the first time, you see the Create one now button, using which you can create a new announcement.
      
   2. If you have existing announcement(s), you see the Add another notification button, using which you can create another announcement.
      
5. In the Announcement editor, enter the respective details. To configure additional settings to your announcement, click Show advanced options... For more details, refer to this page.
             

6. To display the announcement only for specific project(s), select the checkbox Filter for specific project(s) and type the intended name(s) of the project(s).

7. Preview the announcement and click Save.
            

           You see the announcement whenever you navigate to the respective project. In this example - Dev testing, Experiment.
