How to configure an announcement in Markdown format using Announcer for Bitbucket app

This article explains how to configure an announcement with Markdown format using the Announcer for Bitbucket Server app.

Instructions

1. Login as an Administrator and click Cog menu (). 
2. Click Announcements under ANNOUNCER FOR BITBUCKET section in the sidebar on the left.
   
   
3. If you are creating an announcement for the first time, click Create one now to create a new announcement.
   
   If you have any existing announcement(s), click Add another notification.
   
   
4. In the Announcement editor page, select Mark Down from the drop-down list. 
5. Replace the text in the editor with the required content in Markdown format.
   
   
6. Click Save.
