Dashboard HUB FAQ - "This Jira Instance Datasource"

This article explains how to fix the following issues:

  • Error message - “The datasource doesn't exist, or you do not have permissions.”

  • Datasource functionality message - “This Jira Instance.”

Functionality -

The “This Jira instance” datasource is private for each user, so each user has their own “This Jira instance” datasource. Users can grant permissions for datasources to provide access beyond “Private” or “My organization.” See: https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RDD/pages/1899429890

Instructions

You can update the datasource permissions for users, groups, or projects to collaborate on the same gadgets with the same datasource.

  1. Navigate to Apps > Dashboard Hub.

  2. Click the More actions () > Manage datasources.

  3. In the list of datasources, click More actions () for This Jira Instance, then select Edit datasource.

  4. Set the permission level, then, to add specific users, groups, or projects, enter the names in the input field.

  5. Click Add, then click Update.
