This version, released on Aug 1, 2023, includes the following changes:
Improved Cloud Migration Support - Now With JCMA Support!
This version of JMWE for Jira Cloud brings much improved support for migration from Jira Data Center/Server to Jira Cloud. Improvements include expanded support for Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) to complete a more thorough migration of your Data Center/Server instance to a new Cloud instance. Additionally, this update includes improved tools for post-migration checks.
Along with improvements to pre- and post-migration, this release includes greatly expanded support for migrating JMWE data and configurations, including:
JMWE Extensions (Conditions, Post-functions, and Validators)
JMWE Workflow Extensions Administration Page
A new page has been added to the JMWE Administration section - JMWE Workflow Extensions. This page lists all of your JMWE extensions on a single page, greatly increasing the efficiency of managing your workflow customizations. From this administration page, you can check any errors or warnings associated with the extensions.
Other Improvements
This release includes other updates and improvements:
Native Jira and third-party Conditions and Validators can now be added to Shared Extensions.
Expanded support for new events in Event-based Actions - added Issue Link Created and Issue Link Deleted.
Expanded variables for Groovy scripting - current transition data and full event data are now available in your Groovy scripts!
New Groovy helper function - renderAsHTML. This helper functions takes a string as input and renders it in HTML format.
