Manage migrations
How to manage my migrations
TheĀ Manage MigrationsĀ page lists essential information for each migration. This page allows you to view the status and details of your past and ongoing migrations at a glance. In addition to that, you can return to a previously incomplete migration to review details or complete it. For failed and successful deployments, you can go back to their result page to review the outcome in more detail.
Migration states
Each migration you create can be in one of the following states:
CREated The migration is created. You can use the View action to resume and complete the migration.
Analysis The migration is being analyzed. You can use the View action to check the analysis progress and details.
failed The migration failed. You can open aĀ support requestĀ and send us a support zip, which helps us identify the problem.
Completed The migration is completed. Use the View action to see the summary of the migrated projects, issues, and configuration changes.

View migrations when connectivity is lost
When a connection to the Jira Cloud site canāt be established for some reason, you wonāt be able to return to or open an existing migration.
You need to connect or reconnect to the Jira site with valid credentials when:
you donāt have a cloud connection to the Jira site in Cloud Migration Toolās UI,
your cloud credentials become obsolete, or
the cloud connection used for an existing migration isnāt working for some reason.
If you donāt have a connection to the Jira Cloud site in the migration, use the Connect action in the error message in the Actions column of the Manage migrations section (see the screenshot below). This way, you can create a connection to the Jira site with your credentials and review the migration.
