Problem

App suggests you might have an existing page of the same name

Solution

Choose any of the following that work best for your situation:

  • Choose a different page name
  • Delete the existing page
  • Rename the existing page  
    • (warning) Changing the existing page name may break links to it
  • Move the existing page to another space
    • (warning) Changing the existing page location to a different space may break links to it
  • Make the initial copy to a temp space then use Confluence to move the new top level page of the tree back to the intended destination. Confluence will tell you explicitly which pages have the same existing names.
