Overview

This page provides important information for a Confluence administrator about Page Approval.

On installation, Page approval can be added

  • manually to each individual page

  • to all pages in a space using the space settings

The appearance of the Page Approval macro is configured at both global level and space level.

Notifications are configured in the global settings.

Notifications can also be set for a Page Approval added manually by editing the added macro code.

Space level settings configuration includes

  • the option to apply the macro to all pages in the space

  • options to override some global settings

  • configuration options for the

    • appearance of the macro

    • users who are approvers

    • users who acknowledge

    • expiry settings
