Page Approval Global Settings
Some parameters for the Page Approval macro can be configured globally in Confluence Administration.
Open the global settings
Navigate to the top menu bar cog icon
select General configuration
On the General Configuration screen, look in the sidebar and look for Page Approval Configuration.
choose Page Approval Properties
The following screen is displayed allowing you to configure the parameters globally for the Confluence site.

Configure the default appearance of the macro by checking one or more of
Show role field
Show comment field
Show acknowledgment
Page Approval Notifications
Configure how users are notified about approval events by choosing the dropdown options for each of
Notified users
Notified actions
Choose whether to notify users for one or more of the following events by checking each option
Notify on approval events
Notify on acknowledgment events
Other Page Approval Settings
Configure the default behavior of Page Approval by checking the options to
Fix the list of users when the Users or Acknowledgers parameters are used
Unapprove pages when a new user is registered to them (this may happen due to a group membership change, etc.)
Ensure you choose Save after changing the global configuration settings.
