JEP’s Validators offer additional validation checks that can be applied to transitions within a workflow. These validators ensure that certain conditions are met before allowing a transition to occur. The following validators are available:
- Parent Issue Status Validator — Confirms that the parent issue's status is in one of the specified status(es).
- Field Has Been Set Validator — Confirms that a specified field (which can be a custom field) has been set.
- User Project Role Validator — Confirms that the logged-in user has one of the specified project role(s).
