The Field Change Counter Custom Field calculates how many times that a particular field has been changed so far.

To create a Field Change Counter Custom Field

  • Navigate to Jira Admin > Manage Apps > Enhancer Plugin For Jira Menu > Custom Fields (JEP).
  • Click on the  button.
  • Click on the Counter tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue. 
  • Click on Field Change Counter then click Add custom field.

  • Fill in the dialog box:

    • Create a name for the custom field.
    • Select the field whose changes you want to the custom field to count.
  • Click on the Save Custom Field button.


This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
