"In Progress" Status Counter Custom Field

The "In Progress" Status Counter Custom Field calculates how many times the issue has been in the In Progress status.

To create an "In Progress" Status Counter Custom Field

• Navigate to Jira Admin > Manage Apps > Enhancer Plugin For Jira Menu > Custom Fields (JEP).
• Click on the  button.
• Click on the Counter tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue. 
• Click on "In Progress" Status Counter then click Add custom field.

• Fill in the dialog box:
  
  
  • Create a name for the custom field.
    
  • The Status field will automatically be set to In Progress. You can change it accordingly, and you can even select multiple statuses. 
    
• Click on the Save Custom Field button.

This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
