How to resolve the "Something's gone wrong" message when you click on Chat Settings option

This article helps to learn how to resolve the common error, "Something's gone wrong" when the Chat Settings option is clicked at the project level.

Follow these steps to fix the error :

  1. Google Chrome:

    1. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window.

    2. Select "More tools" > "Clear browsing data".

    3. In the "Time range" drop-down menu, choose the time range for which you want to clear the cache and cookies.

    4. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".

    5. Click "Clear data".

  2. Mozilla Firefox:

    1. Click the three lines in the top right corner of the browser window.

    2. Select "Options" > "Privacy & Security".

    3. In the "Cookies and Site Data" section, click "Clear Data".

    4. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content".

    5. Click "Clear".

  3. Microsoft Edge:

    1. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window.

    2. Select "Settings" > "Privacy, search, and services".

    3. Click "Choose what to clear" under the "Clear browsing data" section.

    4. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".

    5. Click "Clear now".

  4. Safari:

    1. Click "Safari" in the top left corner of the menu bar.

    2. Select "Preferences" > "Privacy".

    3. Click "Manage Website Data".

    4. Click "Remove All".

    5. Click "Remove Now".

      Note: Clearing your cache and cookies will sign you out of all logged-in websites and may remove some saved preferences, so you may need to sign back in and reset some settings after clearing them.
