This routine is available starting with katl-commons 3.1.8.
This routine is available for Jira server and cloud deployment options.

Syntax

getUserByEmail(email)

Description

Gets the user by email address.

Parameters

Parameter name	Type	Required	Description
email	String	Yes	Email address.

Return type

JUser

Returns the first user found with the specified email address.

Notes

If there are more users with the same email address, the routine does not guarantee that it will always return the same user.
