This routine is available for Jira server and cloud deployment options.
Syntax
userHasCoreAccess(username)
Description
Verifies if a user has access to the Jira Core application.
Parameters for the server version
Parameter name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
username | String | Yes | Username of the user that is being checked. |
Return type
boolean (true/false)
A "true" return value means that the user has access to Jira Core.
Example
userHasCoreAcces("jsmith");Returns "true" if the user has access.
