Keeping your OKRs up-to-date is crucial for measuring progress and achieving goals. But remembering to update them regularly can be a challenge. That's where email reminders come in!

This guide will walk you through setting up automated email notifications that will keep you and your team on top of your OKRs.

Pro Tip: Encourage your team to set up individual notifications to personalize their reminder experience.

How to Set Up Email Notifications

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab > Notifications.

  2. Turn on the toggle for OKR update reminder.

  3. Choose who should receive these reminders. You can select individuals, teams, or specific roles within your organization.

  4. Decide how often you want reminders to be sent. Common options include daily, weekly, or bi-weekly. Then, select a time that aligns with your team's work schedule for optimal impact.

Remember that the time you set is in UTC. Below, you'll see the next email's scheduled delivery time in your local time zone.

Optionally, you can click Send test email to myself if you'd like to see what the email looks like.

What to Expect in the Reminder Email

  • Each team member will receive a unique email with their individual OKRs.

  • The email will highlight any OKRs that haven't been updated since the last notification.

  • You'll see a visual representation of your progress towards each Key Result.

  • The email will also remind you of the date and time your OKRs were last updated.
