Transitions

Overview

The routes between the states in your workflow are transitions.

A transition is unique to each state.

Each of these workflow states has one or more transition options.

Some transitions are based on a user decision - undertaking an approval decision.

Other transitions may occur automatically based on a user action - updating the document.

A transition occurs on an event - a document being rejected - this causes the content to transition to a destination state defined in the workflow.
